Welcome to the Bloomington Aspiration Trail! Bring your painted rocks and walking shoes and enjoy our unique trail system! The original hand-built trail, which was started by Kevin and Ann Hansen in 2014, was 5 years in the making. It is a complete loop that is approximately 2 miles long. Follow the map link below to get to the trailhead.
Aspiration means "a strong desire, or ambition to achieve something." Aspiration Trail was named with the hope that those who come to enjoy the trail will "aspire higher" in all of their life's ambitions!
Thanks to all of the community members who helped in creating the new Aspiration Ridge Community Trail along with the connector trails. This new loop with its connector trail is over 3/4 of a mile long. Enjoy the view from the flag tower which stretches on as far as the eye can see in all directions!
The flag needs to be replaced every 2-3 months. If you would like to donate money for a new flag, we would love to acknowledge your support with a painted rock ("Flag donated by ...") at the flag tower. Just send an e-mail to Ann Hansen.
